Bible Quest

Bible Quest is a Workshop Rotation Model Sunday School  for kindergarten thru fifth grade. A key feature of the workshop rotation model is that it incorporates the theory of “multiple intelligence”.   By studying the same story in various ways our goal is for the children to develop a deeper understanding of the story.

Each year has an overall theme. During each month we focus on a specific Bible story or theme which is taught each week using a different learning format such as story, craft, movement, music, or food.  First Presbyterian Church uses the Cornerstone curriculum (www.cstones.com), which has a six year scope and sequence.

The theme for the 2009/2010 Sunday School year is “Test of Faith”.  Our Bible lessons this year are:

Garden of Eden

Ruth

Daniel

Christmas Dreams

The Rich Young Man

Garden of Gethsemane

Doubting Thomas

Jonah
